Police nabs 2 of 4 suspected cultists who abducted, whisked away rival cult member in car boot

The mutual dislike for one another by rival cult groups, orchestrating incessant supremacy battles, almost reenacted in Ogun State when four members of Bucaneer and Alora conspired to abduct a member of Eye Confraternity at Oja-Odan in Yewa North Local Government Area of the state.
According to a police sitrep sighted by ProwlingEagles, the victim, Nuru Kujore, a.k.a. Porter, was abducted on July 14, 2025, locked in the trunk of a Toyota Avalon car with registration number AAA 166 HD, and whisked away, apparently to be murdered.
However, divine providence came to the victim’s rescue through the diligence action of police operatives attached to the Oja-Odan Division.
The operatives, on stop-and-search duty, it was learnt intelligently flagged down the ash colour vehicle with fully tinted glass, for interrogation, and in the process were attracted by a strange sound in the car boot, which was the sound of struggling for life by the victim, who was already suffocating.
This strange development aroused the operatives’ suspicion of a conspirational motive to murder the victim and promptly arrested the suspects, identified as Sesan Ogundipe, a.k.a. SO, and Fashola Bolaji, resulting in the victim’s rescue.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Oja-Odan, CSP Esther Oluwatosin, on receiving the information, quickly raced to the scene and took charge of the situation.
The DPO, to avoid reprisal on her station by other members of the arrested cultists, moved both suspects and their victim to Ilaro Division, where she conducted a preliminary investigation.
Considering the gravity of the alleged crime, the DPO, same day, finally settled for immediate transfer of the case to the CSP Sunday Daramola-led Anti-cultism Section at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the state command for discreet investigation, while efforts are being intensified to apprehe
