Yewa South APC dropped Hon.Akinlade endorse Dr. Emmanuel Toyin as consensus candidate for Yewa/South Ipokia Fedral Constituency
Hon.Abiodun Akinlade is the one that representing Yewa South/ Ipokia Federal Constituency in Abuja. But things changed when the leader of the Party chose Dr. Emmanuel Toyin Taiwo as their new candidate that will represent Yewa South/Ipokia Fedral Constituency.
Dr. Taiwo served as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the first four years of Ogun State Gov. Prince Dapo Abiodun and he is now serve as Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Party stakeholders have expressed strong confidence in his ability to provide effective and people-oriented representation, citing his administrative experience and close working relationship with the state government as key advantages.
Dr. Taiwo, a native of Ifonyintedo Ward in Ipokia Local Government Area, is widely recognized for his grassroots connection and deep understanding of the socio-economic challenges facing the Ipokia/Yewa South Federal Constituency.
Party leaders noted that the consensus arrangement reflects unity and strategic alignment within the APC in Ogun West, aimed at ensuring electoral success and quality representation.
The endorsement is expected to be formally ratified at the party’s direct primary, with constituents expressing optimism that Dr. Taiwo’s candidacy will foster inclusive legislation and deliver tangible democratic dividends to the people.
